The third edition of the Global CFaH Project Newsletter is now live!
This issue, From Research to Legacy: Global CFaH Enters Its Final Phase, brings together updates from across the project as partners move into a period of consolidation, reflection and legacy-building after four years of research, community partnership and intervention learning across Fiji, Palawan in the Philippines, St Lucia, and St Vincent and the Grenadines.
As the project enters its final phase, teams are focused on analysing follow-up data, documenting community learning, sharing emerging findings and developing tools and resources that can support food systems work beyond the project lifecycle. This edition highlights how community-led interventions across project settings are being reviewed for their contribution to healthier diets, stronger livelihoods and more resilient local food systems.

Inside this issue:
The newsletter also shares recent dissemination events and community showcases, including events in St Lucia, St Vincent and the Grenadines and Fiji that brought together researchers, community partners, farmers, public health stakeholders and local residents to celebrate learning and share findings from the project.

This edition also highlights the Fiji-Palawan learning exchange hosted by Western Philippines University, where partners reflected on community-based agroecology, local food systems, nutrition, climate resilience and sustainable development across island contexts.

Alongside community stories and dissemination activities, Issue 03 features recent publications and emerging research outputs documenting the project’s methods and strengthening evidence on local food production, nutrition, food security, agroecology, mental health and systems approaches to planetary health. Looking ahead, Global CFaH is continuing to consolidate practical tools, community resources, policy outputs, training materials and research methods that can support future action on food security, nutrition, agroecology and planetary health in small island settings.
